Tomorrow is 1 year since the horrendous Feb 22 earthquake.

I just want to let parents know what our approach will be.

We will be keeping it as low key as possible. There will be no assembly or special remembrance other than the flag at half mast. We have many children here who have been quite affected so we don't want to freshen their memories. This is not being disrespectful to the many people who died or suffered but it is our way of trying to best serve the needs of our children here. 

If parents want to take children to the services in Chch then please feel free - but let us know.
