We get many enquiries about if "I am out of zone what are my chances of getting in".....
The short answer is slim at this stage - sorry.

But there are some things you can do.....
1/ Move in zone ( I know, a bit drastic)
2/ Apply and hope. I have included below the priority list which the BOT need to consider all applications by.
3/ Swot up on all the info in the following website and try and find a loophole.

At this stage Out of Zone pre-enrolled students can be part of our 4 year old programme but this is no guarantee of getting in.

Applications for enrolment will be processed in the following order of priority:

  • First Priority will be given to students who have been accepted for enrolment in special programme(s) run by the school and approved by the Secretary for Education. Waikuku does have any 'special' programmes that qualify under MOE criteria
  • Second Priority will be given to applicants who are siblings of current students.
  • Third Priority  will be given to applicants who are siblings of former students.
  • Fourth priority will be given to applicants who are children of board employees.
  • Fifth priority will be given to all other applicants.
  • If there are more applicants in the second, third, fourth, or fifth priority groups than there are places available, selection within the priority group will be by a ballot conducted in accordance with instructions issued by the Secretary under Section 11G(1) of the Education Act 1989.
